Not better, just more concentrated. Eau de parfum typically holds 15–20% fragrance oil against 5–15% for eau de toilette, so it lasts longer and projects more. In Australian summer heat, an eau de toilette is often the smarter choice because what remains on the skin stays fresh rather than becoming heavy.
